- Certain smaller electric scooters/wheelchairs are shipped via courier, depending on the model you may have to fit the seat onto the seat post,slide in the armrests and connect the batteries. This will only take a few minutes and no tools are generally required, if you require any help assembling your scooter we are only a telephone call away. We can offer a personal delivery service by one of our specialised drivers who will arrive with the scooter/electric wheelchair fully assembled and ready to use. He will also give you a full demonstration including safe operation, how to charge the scooter/electric wheelchair and how to assemble and dismantle your new scooter/electric wheelchair.

- By law no insurance is required but we highly recommend taking out comprehensive insurance to protect you against any eventuality such as having your product stolen or being involved in an accident.We are able to offer insurance from as little as £62.50 which includes public liability up to £2 million.

- Electric scooters and wheelchairs are designed for indoor or outdoor use. Small amounts of rain are no problem but it is always best to protect your scooter/wheelchair from rain whenever possible. We are able to offer a range of products in our scooter accessories section that will help you protect yourself and your scooter/wheelchair.

- Although not necessary it is advisable to charge them after every reasonable trip so as to be ready for your next journey this will also help them survive the cold winter if the machine is stored outside. If you have not used your scooter/wheelchair for some considerable time (two weeks or more) then it is always best to charge them up prior to use and to keep the batteries in good condition.

- You can only ride your scooter on the road if it is a class 3 model, i.e. is capable of 8mph and has indicators and lights, you can of course cross the road on a 4mph scooter/wheelchair.
